Rat Update

 

So we have had the traps in action for a week or so now. We have had no new Rats in the traps. The weather has been really wet lately and I haven't checked the traps today. 

I have since found out our second Ray Gun trap is actually referred to as the Electric Chair. It is a plug in model and with the rain I was worried the trap would electrify the floor if it flooded under the house.

I had to do a double take when i saw this on the bench. I am not sure it would be an appropriate media release for the Rat Ass.

When I opened it up it made sense.

Nooski Rat Trap

Nooski Rat Trap referred as Mouse Band (Small) and Rat Band (large) on this Blog.

Here is the rat at peace. Nossy is the humane trap so I am hoping it will be the one to overtake the leaderboard.

Ray Gun is on a roll. I had a feeling that there would be a rat in the trap. Check out that tail I was hoping it would be Nossy taking a point.

Another rat down and another notch to Ray Gun. Here is a picture of the Lure that was part of the Nossy pack. 

Note the bite marks. When I set Nossy I didn't end up using this location as it was near a water pipe and wiring.

The Nos Powered Rat Trap (Nossy)

 

Nossy has been in place for 2 days now. The installation was easy and the lure comes with a 10c piece on the cap you need to remove. This morning their was a rat in the Ray gun and I am wondering if the Lure from Nossy attracted the Rat in.

This battery powered trap was moved down under the house and has currently been performing well. The benefits of the Ray gun is you can slide the rat our into a paper bag and reset the trap without touching the rat.
